Here’s something most people don’t know about LA: A river runs through it.
In fact the LA River courses through the city, bounded by tall concrete walls. Efforts to reclaim the river are gaining momentum, and this is one of the best ideas we’ve heard.
Bike to the river. Watch a movie. How fun is that gonna be?
The LA River Revitalization Corp. has launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund this event, which will be free to the general public. They need to raise $10,000 by April 11, 2013.
