Welcome Back! David Bowie's 1st Single in a Decade, 'Where Are We Now?'

The song is haunting, and so is the video. After a ten-year hiatus, David Bowie is back, having lost none of his melody or mystery.
Directed by Tony Oursler with handheld, mobile phone-style video imagery, this deliberately low-tech video is all about what’s lost. It’s shot in Berlin, the city that most exemplifies the transition from Old World Order to New World Order, but when Bowie appears, his face framed in a crude cut-out, his question is as much about himself and all of us, as it is about any physical place.
