Honored by Newsweek as one of the “Women Shaping the 21st Century,” Tiffany Shlain is a filmmaker, artist, and founder of the Webby Awards. Her films and work have received 60 awards and distinctions including a “Disruptive Innovation Award” from the Tribeca Film Festival. Four of her films have premiered at Sundance, including her acclaimed feature documentary, Connected: An Autoblogography about Love, Death & Technology. The US State Department has selected her films to represent America around the world. Her new hit series The Future Starts Here, received more then 20 million views in the first few months of its launch and the first episode Technology Shabbats explores how she and her family have unplugged from technology for 1 day a week for the past 4 years. Her latest film The Science of Character premieres on March 20, 2014 for #CharacterDay at over 1500 schools, museums, and organizations globally.
