Kendall Johnson is a writer and artist living in Upland, California. Formerly a teacher, psychologist, and trauma consultant, his book Chaos & Ash of nonfiction stories about working on-scene on major disasters and traumatic events over the past twenty-five years has just been released by Pelekinesis (2020). He is the author of seven clinical books about crisis and trauma, as well as six books of poetry and artwork. One of his previous books of poetry, A Sublime and Tragic Dance, about physicist Robert Oppenheimer, was co-authored by John Brantingham, Poet Laureate of Sequoia/King’s Canyon National Park.
