Katie Lashley is 17-year-old and has lived in Los Angeles for as long as she can remember. She wrote her first short story in kindergarten, and hasn’t stopped writing since. She performs original spoken word poetry every year. Other than writing, she also enjoys painting, horse riding, Netflixing, reading, hiking, and camping. Her dream is to make people think differently through her writing. To tell the stories of others, so that the world might understand them.
