Gina Sanchez is a student at Stanford University studying philosophy and international relations. Originally from outside of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Gina enjoys soaking up the sun and red chile. As a member of Stanford Women in Politics, Gina is passionate about gender issues and advocacy and hopes to be a lawyer. In 2018, Gina was recognized as a finalist for the National Speech and Debate Student of the Year and competed on an internationally recognized debate team. Gina was the winner of the New Mexico Bar Essay Contest in 2017 and recently gave a TEDx Talk on the power of communication activities in improving public education.
