‘Storytelling is Joke-Telling’

Disney spared no effort in the run up to John Carter, including getting director Andrew Stanton booked to give a TED Talk. While John Carter may be the anointed movie debacle of the month (although the actual write-off won’t be as bad as predicted), Stanton, who also directed the superlative films WALL-E and Finding Nemo, is spot-on in this talk.
