The Oscar telecast ratings went up and the demographic skewed younger which is exactly what the producers and network wanted. Not sure if it was be wise of the popularity of movies this year or with Seth MacFarlane or both.

Between the boob comments at the Oscars and the p#$@is jokes at the Spirit Awards, we've come a long way from pairings like Lemmon and Matthau or Baldwin and Martin. An all time low for Americans.
